With 39 years of experience in the food retail industry, I have built my career from the shop floor upwards, giving me a genuine understanding of what it takes to run a successful retail business. From working in stores and managing day-to-day operations, managing projects & successfully implementing them, through to leading teams as an Area Manager and Regional Manager, I have gained valuable experience across every level of retail.

Throughout my career, I have developed a strong understanding of the challenges faced by retailers. From driving sales and improving margins, to increasing customer footfall, developing teams and delivering operational excellence. I believe that successful retail is about getting the fundamentals right, understanding your customers and creating a store that gives people a reason to return.

I now use this experience to support independent retailers throughout the UK in growing and improving their businesses. My approach is practical, hands-on and focused on delivering results that make a real difference. Rather than simply providing recommendations, I work alongside retailers to identify opportunities, develop solutions and help put them into practice.
